WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In this tour, one of our nationally-accredited experts will take you around Tokyo's most famous market, Tsukiji Outer Market. Over 85 years old, its distinctive narrow streets and eclectic shops are renowned for their top-notch cooking products and delicious seafood. Though it is no longer the largest market in the world, due to the inner market's move to Toyosu in 2018, it is still widely regarded as the home of Tokyo seafood and remains the most popular market in Japan. Michelin-starred sushi chefs and restauranteurs continue to be regular visitors.
Not just a mecca for seafood, around the streets of Tsukiji you will see many vendors and shops selling a number of top-quality items and foodstuff, including the world-renowned Japanese fish knives, sweet Tamagoyaki omelettes, freshly gyoza dumplings and more.
A bustling area, there's so much to see and do from visiting Tsukiji's Namiyoke Jinja Shrine to trying all the free samples on offer to buying one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
And when you have satisfied your need for exploration, you will finish your experience with a delicious sushi meal featuring the best-quality fish and seafood in Tokyo!
