◆ Learn origami from a licensed instructor
◆ Make a variety of simple and complex origami creations
◆ Discover all about the history and importance of origami

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Origami is the art of Japanese paper folding, and its practitioners create complex shapes out of paper without the need of glue or scissors. Though an ancient Japanese art form rooted in tradition, it has overtime evolved into an equally modern handicraft that has influenced current-day technology and science. Combine the old and the new in this dynamic workshop that is fun for all the family.

In this short program, held at our state-of-the-art Grand TJT experience room, you will be taught how to make origami creations by our nationally-licensed instructors. You will have a variety of shapes (both easy and complex) to choose from, as well as a number of different paper styles, but common creations our guests choose include: Mount Fuji, the Japanese crane, samurai shapes, and Japanese ninja stars.

Note: As of March 2020, all activities will now take place in our brand-new cultural experiences room, Grand TJT. Some current website photos do not represent this location.
