In this online cooking class, our specialist sushi instructor will take you through the steps to making your very own sushi meal. Through the course of the program you will discover all the different aspects of traditional Japanese sushi and learn to make some of the most well-known varieties for yourself.
Due to the online nature of this program, it is up to you what fillings and varieties of sushi you would like to make. However, unless requested otherwise, our instructor will show you to make two type of sushi: "nigiri sushi," traditional hand-moulded sushi, and "gunkan maki," also known as boat-shaped sushi, which is hand-moulded sushi wrapped in nori seaweed.
Once finished, our guide will instruct you on the proper sushi etiquette and you can enjoy your creations as a sushi meal.
All our instructors are nationally-licensed bilingual guides with certified training in sushi making.
